i watched the unfurling on Today this morning. what a beautiful thing. thank you for sharing it with those that won't get to see it in person!

It was great fun to be there this morning. At the risk of sounding like a dork, I really do feel terribly privileged to have seen it all. We walked around the park for about five hours today.

please post more pics if you get a chance! 5 hours eh? wow... so you got to see about 1/3 of it? i imagine the park is going to be a zoo for the next 16 days, i wish i could be part of it :)

I have a ton of photos, but I want to go through them, so I don't post crap. I'm also going to walk around the park a few more times, hopefully one a day that isn't so overcast.
